History
In 2011 phase 1 of the project was completed for 12.6 million $US dollars. It was completed and "new" in 2012 when a celebration was held here along with free Vacaville City Coach rides. Phase 2 envisioned a 20.5m dollar 400 stall parking garage but this was later changed to a 1m dollar 136 space surface lot. In 2013 the center received $450,000 $US to improve sidewalks and build a bikepath. In 2015 there was controversy over the Vacaville City Coach line 1's proposed elimination and shortened hours from the center disallowing seniors access to the food bank based on schedule conflicts with earlier last bus times. The center has no water fountains or bathroom facilities.
